TRAVEL
Air travel – Dave prefers to fly the most direct route possible, preferably on United, Delta or Southwest. Dave is to be seated on the right side of the airplane at the window seat. His assistant will work with the client/travel agent to find the appropriate flights.
Ground Transportation –Dave will need a representative from the event to pick him up at the airport and provide transportation to and from the event site. Please provide a car service if no one from the organization is available. Dave will need transportation from the hotel to the airport.
LODGING
Because Dave travels extensively, we prefer for him to stay in a nice hotel. Required is inside entry, food service delivery to the hotel room (if at all possible) and a nonsmoking room with a king size bed unless otherwise stipulated.
MEALS
Dave is flexible in this area. He will take meals with the clients as long as it is scheduled in advance. Incidentals along with meals need to be covered in his expenses.
STAGING AND AUDIO/VISUAL NEEDS
Dave has an introductory video presentation that he would like to have as the introduction to his presentation (if at all possible). Please have equipment there to present this video. Please position Dave as close to his audience as possible, with no visual or audio obstructions. Dave does prefer to have a lectern. Please provide water at the stage.
The most important item you can provide is a good sound system. Dave prefers a lavaliere microphone. A backup microphone should be set up and ready to go.
PROMOTION OF EVENT
Dave is available to do radio or newspaper interviews to promote the event. These must be scheduled and on his calendar three weeks prior to the event. Dave is also open to doing TV, radio or newspaper interviews at the event if he is aware prior to arriving at the event. Dave feels the best time for a press interview is 30 minutes to 1 hour before the event begins.
